Today's topic: Earning money through the internet.
I'm currently still studying and like most other international student, I can do with more money. Having to juggle my school hours and assignement means that I don't have the flexibility for normal work. Hence, I turned to the internet to search for ways to earn money online. After 2 years of constant searching, combing through countless of websites and researching the reliability of those website, I'm sad to say that most posted online are scams.
I'm currently doing surveys online to earn extra money. It's slow but at least these websites do pay me (in some form or another) for the work I've done.
The 1st is Global Test Market
This website provides paid online surveys where you will mainly earn money through a market point system or sweepstakes entry. Each survey (upon full completion) will deposit about an average of 30marketpoints into your balance. Once you accumulated a 1000 points, you can choose to redeem it and a US$50 cheque will be sent to your mailing address (They will convert the US$50 into your local currency). I received my 1st cheque about 8 weeks after redeeming my points.
It's a really slow way to earn money, especially when you do not qualify for the surveys that are sent to you. But on the bright side, I rather prefer to have cash sent to me than receiving gift cards.
The 2nd survey portal that I regularly use is Valued Opinions
As soon as you register with Valued Opinions and activate your account you’ll be able to choose to take part in surveys and earn rewards for each and every one you complete. As the rewards add up you’ll be able to redeem them for vouchers to spend with some of the world’s top brands including: Coles, iTunes, Sanity, Rebel Sports, Woolworths, Hoyts and iSubscribe. Note, you will only be able to redeem once you hit more than $20 in your account. Or you can use your rewards to make a donation to leading charities: Oxfam and The Children's Tumour Foundation of Australia.
The surveys that I regularly receive range between $1-$5 depending on the amount of time that is needed to complete the survey. I find that it is easier to reach the amount needed for redemption for this website versus the 1st website that I posted due to the amount of money you receive for a full completion of each survey. However, instead of cash, you get to redeem vouchers for the brands that they have chosen. The voucher that you have redeemed will be mailed to you and will generally take about 6 to 8 weeks for it to arrive.
You will start receiving surveys in your email after you sign up with them and complete all aspects of your profile. These 2 website that I listed are FREE to sign up. Of course, apart from these 2 websites, there are others out there as well. But I realised that I received the most number of surveys from these 2 websites as compared to the others.
